HEAL D0015 - American Heart Association BLS CPR Certification
Course Description
The American Heart Association standards for Basic Life Support Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is recommended for all licensed and certified healthcare practitioners. This class teaches students how to perform high-quality CPR individually and as part of a team, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), as well as foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) techniques. BLS students learn rescue techniques for adults, children, and infants.
Notice: Per City guidelines, masking will be strongly recommended but not mandatory. Wearing a high-quality mask such as KN95 or N95 mask, or double masking, is strongly encouraged. It is important to wear a mask that is well-fitted. - 1-Rescuer CPR and AED for adult, child and infant
- 2-Rescuer CPR and AED for adult, child and infant
- Differences between adult, child and infant rescue techniques
- Bag-mask techniques for adult, child and infant
- Rescue breathing for adult, child and infant
- Relief of choking for adult, child and infant
- Written exam based on American Heart Association guidelines
Learner Outcomes
